  LUNCH Battered Spanish Mackeral and Chips $28 - 8.9 out of 10 Bottle 821 South Sauvignon Blanc - $40 Not all Port Douglas restaurants get this right, but this was my second time in 7 days  and both times the fish was good. (We are not so lucky up here and the only battered fish to use up north is  Spanish Mackeral or Barramundi. If a menu says "reef fish" check what it is with the staff.) Gourmet Burger $28 - 8.5 out of 10 Glass Little Berry Cabernet Sauvignon - $8 Burger was better than most. Super Crisp on tap $11. Considering there are four eateries in this part of Port Douglas the Ramada Resort 316 Bar and Bistro is our choice for quality and price.
