Not all Port Douglas restaurants get this right, but this was my second time in 7 days and both times the fish was good.
(We are not so lucky up here and the only battered fish to use up north is Spanish Mackeral or Barramundi.
If a menu says "reef fish" check what it is with the staff.)

Considering there are four eateries in this part of Port Douglas the Ramada Resort 316 Bar and Bistro is our choice for quality and price.
